A Brief History

Valucorp Transport is an innovative and well established company operating since 2011. The company is supported by a professional and efficient team.
Valucorp has emerged from humble beginnings – the Director and owner Nash Govender comes from a background in the Transport Industry. He has grown up watching his father flourish and diversify – he gained much of his mechanical expertise from watching his father. From this passion and history the idea behind Valucorp Transport was born. Valucorp is affiliated with Valamehlo and Premier Attraction 217cc. The group of companies started in the 1970’s and each division has specialised in a specific aspect of the transport industry were a need was identified.

The owner of Valucorp transport is a go getter and his drive and his natural business sense inspired him to set up his business whilst in his second year of university. He was a full time student and was operating a single truck on a full time basis. Whilst juggling his academic commitments he managed his full time business - sometimes even driving the vehicles through the night. His academic qualifications were completed in four years his majors were business management and supply chain.  The foundation stood him in good stead and he hit the ground running with a successful business.

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failure.

Our leader has a vision that in order to survive one needs to diversify.
The goal is build a country wide chain of warehousing with one of the biggest transport depots. A goal we are hoping to achieve in the near future.
Innovative tthinking in order to diverse and expand the footprint of our business.

.We specialise in a service offering that extends over the greater Durban area, as well as Gauteng and surrounds. We offer a vast range of transport service that will the individual needs and demands of our customers.

Our rates are competitive and are negotiable - we are happy to assist in structuring a tailor made deal according to each and every customer’s needs. We currently offer rates based on the following structure:
• Contractual
• Dedicated
• Ad – Hoc / Once Off

All our vehicles are fitted with SABS approved tracking devices these systems are monitored via satellite. Our vehicles are monitored on an hourly basis to ensure that our customers load reaches its intended destination. We are proud of our team of drivers that have maintained an excellent code of conduct. Our drivers are an integral part of the competitive service we are able to offer.

The company is managed and owned by a single Director Nashalen Govender.

Quality Assurance

Goods in transit insurance cover is offered to customers at a maximum of up to R 1000 000.00 PER LOAD. The covers are based on an ALL RISKS – FIRST LOSS BASIS. Should you require additional cover, you need to advise us accordingly in order for us to offer you the best service and peace of mind.

Fleet Management

All vehicles are put through stringent checks on a daily basis.
The safety and road-worthiness of vehicles as well as the reliability of our drivers allows us to achieve a service to our customers that is excellent.

Our team is capable of achieving this because of the systems we have in place – supervisors monitor our driver behavioral system and regularly update our checklists so we as a company have controls in place to avoid delays that may hinder our ability to deliver according to our customer’s needs.

All repairs and maintenance on our vehicles have prior authorisation from a team of competent specialist mechanics and associated agents to ensure that our customer’s cargo is well protected and reliably conveyed to the delivery point – giving our valued client peace of mind.
